3rd Drs Appt, 2nd Ultrasound, March 19th

So I went Monday for my ultrasound and drs appt. I was anxious to see the baby again! I got right in, i dont even think i waited 5 mins! Which was great. They started the ultrasound and i could see the baby immediately. The baby was wiggling around! It was so cute! the babys heartrate was 178BPM so alot higher than last time which is good! The baby was measuring bigger than what we thought i should be at, i should have bee 8 weeks 3 days but i was actually 9 weeks. So that was great! I gained some days! They also did a 3d ultrasound which was so good! The US tech couldnt believe how good it turned out! me either! You could see everything and the umbilical cord and all! My cervix still looked good 4cm so thats great although we know that will all change here soon. After my US they moved me to another room and my dr came in, we talked about all my symptoms again and she was making sure i was doing good. We discussed what day to schedule my surgery for my stitches, I am getting them May 21st. At Lakeside.I will be 13 weeks 4 days. With Kennedy i was 15 weeks 6 days and i was already dilating, so we needed to do them sooner this time. Oh and my new due date is November 22nd 2010. Which is 2 days before i was due with Kennedy! I will have the baby in Oct most likely she said, when i hit 36 weeks they take my stitches out then i will go soon after that. I hit 36 weeks Oct 25th. Im hoping that they are not born the same day! We will have to plan Kennedys bday a week or 2 early this year so we can have it before the baby comes! I have my 3rd ultrasound in 3 weeks May 5th for my 12 week NT scan. Hopefully Adam will be able to go with this time!

2nd Drs Appt, 1st ultrasound

SO Adam and i went for our first ultrasound. My appt was at 9am right when they opened so i thought we would get in and out.I was wrong! We go in the weigh me and i had gained 3 lbs already! Then they take us to the ultrasound room and we wait, and wait, and wait! FINALLY after 40 mins one of the nurses comes in and says my dr had an emergency surgery so she would be at least and hour and a half! SO Adam had to go to work, which really sucked! I know he wanted to see the baby and everything too. I went next door to look around at a store to kill time, Kennedy was at Adams grandmas which was a good thing. The about 30 mins later the drs office calls and says she cancelled ALL of her morning appts! UGH! I was a little annoyed! I wanted to see the little baby! It was making me very anxious! SO they rescheduled me till 3pm! I had to go get Kennedy take her homw, eat lunch, lay her down for her nap. After she woke up i took her back to Adams grandmas and finally went back to the dr! I go in and they get me in right away, i get my ultrasound and right away could see the little flicker of the heart beating! They measured me 6 weeks 5 days at the time. They measured my cervix which looked great also it was 4cm so almost 2 inches about, which is great for me!The babys heartbeat was 132 BPM which i thought was kind of low, but she reassured me it was normal for that gestational age. We talked about all my symptoms and how i am so sick! I am way sicker than i was with Kennedy and its all day and night! I am also eating about every hour, if i dont i feel so sick. She put me on Zofran to help, which is still not working for me, Im just rying to stick it out i guess and hope its subsides here soon! They made me another ultrasound appt for a weeka nd a half later.

1st Dr's Appt

March 30th was my 1st trip to the dr's office, they needed to check my blood to see how far along i was, so it was a quick in and out thing. They called the next afternoon which was a Tuesday saying my levels were high, and that they wanted me to come for an ultrasound the next week.

I created this blog to document my pregnancy. We found out we were expecting March 29,2010. It was a complete shock to say the least! We are very excited and hoping that this pregnancy will be a little bit smoother than Kennedy's was.
