27 Weeks drs appt

So Wednesday i had my 27 week drs appt!Can you beleive it!?! I cannot! Time is just slipping away from me i feel like! Its a bittersweet feeling. My drs appt was the fastest one i have EVER had! Even with my previous pregnancies with Nicholas and Kennedy! i iwas in,out and all done within maybe 30 mins! I gained 4 lbs since Tuesday! So 6 days and 4lbs! Yikes! Ive gained 31lbs so far already which my dr said shes not worried about since im so small to begin with! I did not have an U/S that day which was kind of a bummer but thats ok. Im only getting them every 4 weeks now which i guess is progress so i wont complain! Her heartbeat was 150bpm.Then we talked and i asked her some questions. We talked about when she is planning on taking my stitch out. The plan is to have an exam at 35 or 36 weeks to so she can look and see my stitch and see if my cervix healed over my stitches like it did with Kennedy. If it did or does then i will have to go to the hospital and go to surgery and be put under. With Kennedy i went in for what was supposed to be an easy cerclage removal ad it turned into a nightmare! I was at the drs office for 3hrs or more with her trying to get the stitches out(i had 2 sets with Kennedy) but my cervix had healed over my stitch which my dr has never seen before! odd! I had crystalized tissue and bled horribly and they ended up taking m to L&D then going to surgery to have me put under to get them taken out. We are trying o prevent all that this time hopefully! She told me i could go faster this time also. With Kennedy i had them taken out on a Tuesday and i was 3.5cm instantly! I had her 3 days later ,and when i showed up to the hospital i was 8cm! So she told me to be careful this time about my contractions so i dont have her at home! I have a very high pain tolerance so its hard for me to judge! Its a little freaky! I cant beleive we are already talking abou this! i feel like i just found out i was pregnant! I will say having a toddler to take care of makes time go by so much faster she keeps me busy! I have to start my MSPI diet here really soon and im not looking foward to that!ugh! i go back Sept 8th for a growth scan and a cervical check by U/S. I cant wait to see her! Maybe she will cooperate and we will get a good 3d of her face! Last couple times all we got was her ear! her face is like right into my placenta since i have an interior placenta. I only have a few drs appts left which is a little crazy! She said i have one at 29 weeks U/S,31 weeks,33 weeks U/S, 35 weeks, and then either 36 or 37 weeks or both depending! So only 5 or 6! I cant wait to meet her! I do not feel prepared at all for her! I have my baby shower coming up on the 26th of Sept! that should be exciting!

My dr finally called and i passed my 3hr glucose test!woo hoo! No diet and shots for me!

25 Week Belly and my 3hr glucose test!

So today was my repeat 3 hr glucose test. Yay me! Not! I was not looking foward to sitting at my drs for 3+ hrs. I took my Ipodand a word search and some magazines. They do have a tv there too. I got in right away they had me pee drew blood draw number one then the wait was on. an hr later smae thing pee, then blood draw. Then repeat 2 more times, so in all 4 times. Good thing i dont mind needles! Actually the time went by really fast i think which is good. i was just so hingry and jacked up on sugar by the time i left there! Im a little worried i might have it though,i dont know if im being negative or what but we will see when they call tmr. the nurse said i was spilling alot of sugar in my urine all 4 times which isnt good. So will have to wait to get the verdict, they are supposed to call tmr and i know i will be antsy!

Drs Phone Call!

So this morning i woke up to find a voicemail from my drs office. I listened to it and they said to call back as soon as i got the message. I called and they were busy so they called me back like 10 mins later. She said my glucose test came back, and i failed it! They said my sugar levels were in the 150's and thats higher than they like to see, normal would be under 140. I had this weird feeling that i would fail it ,and i dont really know why. So they scheduled me to come in Tuesday of next week to do the 3hr glucose test, which doesnt sound like fun to me! I have to fast, first of all thats hard when your 6 1/2 months pregnant! Then they draw my blood at 830AM and make me pee in a cup, then i have to wait an hr, they draw my blood again, wait another hr, then they draw it again! Then wait another hr then they draw it again! I asked if i could leave in between and i cant!! She told me to bring a book or something to do! I guess ill bring some magazines and my ipod or something! Well heres to hoping i pass on Tuesday!!

25 Week Appt!!

So today was my lovely glucose test!yay me! Actually i dont mind that drink, i just dont like chugging sugary stuff. My appt was bright and early this morning i got there and they got me right in. they drew my blood and i had my US. I asked Pat (my favorite US tech) if she could maybe get her face in 3d for me she told me she would try! That was to no luck,boo! I have an anterior placenta so it is placed right on the front of my stomach so every shot the placenta is blocking her little face!dang it! I really wanted to see what she looked like, maybe next time! She is still head down and im sure will remain that way, Kennedy did from 20 weeks on. This one has been head down since my 20 week appt too. They just want to get out i guess! We got to see her little hands and her opening her mouth and her little feet and toes! Shes so cute! eek! I have a feeling shes going to look like her sister! I can tell from her profile that they have the same little nose! Next was my growth scan to see how much she weighed. She is 1lb 12 ozs! Almost 2lbs already! Shes 60% which is AWESOME! She has a 75% head!haha...so did Kennedy! Its for all their brains i guess!hehe..Then they went on to measure my cervix, which i havent had checked in over 3 weeks. It was measuring around 3.6cm which is a little shorter but nothing to worry about. They dont worry till you get under 2cm or your cervix meets the stitch. No funneling either which is great! After that i got to go into a regular room and wait for my dr. She was actually pretty fast today which i love! We didnt have too much to really talk about. Just registering for the hospital, my diet i will have to be on here soon for MSPI. Kennedy had it so this baby has a very high likelyhood she will too, and in order to breastfeed i have to cut out all milk and soy products! Which im sure will be a challenge! My hips have been hurting SO bad! They never hurt with Kennedy, it is just horrible! She told me to buy one of those belly supports or even a belly band would help she said, so i might try that. Since shes head down shes putting alot of pressure down there. Its hard to walk and to sleep! Ive gained 27lbs as of today! She told me that was a little high, but is not concerned since i am a small person and loose it right away. I gained alot with Kennedy too and was under my regular weight by my 6 week appt! Im lucky! Good genes i guess! We also talked about the cerclage removal, which seems a little crazy to me! This pregnancy is going by in a flash! Which i like but then again it makes me sad.She told me she would remove it between 36 weeks and 37 like we did Kennedys, i had Kennedy 3 days later. She told me i could go even faster this time!yikes! So really i have 11 weeks or less left! I need to get going on getting her stuff together, i dont feel prepared at this point! Im going to start going every 2 weeks, and having US's every 4 weeks for now. So heres to 25 weeks!

Drs appt Tues.

So Tuesday i called my Ob's office to let them know i had been contracting like crazy and still was thinking i had my infection plus having this sore feeling down there. So they told me to come in and just be checked out,even though my Dr was out of town. So they got me in within an hour so i hurried got ready, dropped Kennedy off at my gmas and rushed there to make it on time. I waited about 2 mins before they saw me. I saw the new female dr that had just started like a week ago so i was thinking how i wish i saw one of her other partners but oh well what can you do. So i gave them a urine sample went and got undressed and waited in a room. I was a little upset/disapointed that they didnt do an US. So she came in, had no clue anything about me, kind of acted snotty to me for coming in. She has no clue the things i have been thru so that pissed me off. She checked the babys heartbeat which was good, even though she didnt even tell me what it was. The she checked my fundal height which my dr has NEVER done even with my last pregnancy, i just always have US's so they measure her then. She said i was measuring perfect which is good i guess. Then they did the exam and she could see my stitch and it was all the way around no dilation and she said it felt fine. Then she swabbed me to check if my infection was gone. It is, so thats good. Im supposed to take my Procardia every 6 hrs when im getting contractionsm then my other one at nightime like always. SO i guess i feel a little better but i go back this Wed. August 11th at 11am so i will get to see my regular dr who i love and makes me feel comfortable and reassured. I will get an US and my glucose test and i think she is starting my FFN test that day also. SO heres to another week of being pregnant! Ill be 24 weeks tmr! "viable" which is a huge step for me, i feel like i have been holding my breath to get to this point! I just count by weeks i drive myself a little crazy! I just want her to be safe.♥
